Aviation week

This week provides an excellent opportunity for exchanges between the various schools within the ISAE Group. It has two main objectives: to expand the range of courses available to students by giving them the chance to take modules taught at another school, and to encourage interaction between them, particularly through their immersion on different campuses. 
Each year, more than 500 students benefit from this week, taking advantage of an ever-increasing variety of modules focused primarily on issues relating to sustainable aviation and space. Today, there is also a broader focus on topics linked to social and environmental responsibility and ‘soft skills’ (engineering ethics, critical thinking, public speaking, collective intelligence, etc.).

Space seminar: a privileged moment for dialogue with students

Organized every year over a period of several days in partnership with CNES and GIFAS, the ISAE Group’s Space Seminar focuses on providing students from the 6 schools of the ISAE Group with a better understanding of the problems, stakes and challenges of the civilian and military space field through conferences, roundtables and workshops.

By bringing together all the leading aerospace engineering schools, the ISAE Group aims to position itself as a key player in preparing, in collaboration with industry and institutional partners, for the future of the aerospace sector. The main role of this council will be to formulate recommendations and advice for the schools’ management teams so that they can anticipate and adapt their training programmes and research to the rapid changes and major challenges facing the aerospace sector. The members of this council are as follows:

  • the directors of studies from the 10 schools,
  • the following organisations and institutions: GIFAS, the DGA / AID, CNES, ONERA, CEA, FNAM, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space,
  • the following associations: the French Aeronautics and Astronautics Association (3AF), the Air and Space Academy (AAE), and Engineers and Scientists of France (IESF).
